Ugo Silva Dias
Graduated in Electrical Engineering with emphasys in Telecommunications from the Federal University of Pará, UFPa, Brazil in 2004. During his graduate studies, he worked as an internship at Amazônia Celular and Teleggama Brazil. In 2005, he worked as Telecommunications Engineering at PETROBRAS until 2006. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, Unicamp, Brazil, in 2006, where he is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree. His research interest include Measurements and Statistics Modeling for Characterization of Radio Channel Propagation and Wireless Technologies in general.

Fábio Cézar Martins
Received the Electronic Engineering degree from the National Institute of Telecommunications (INATEL), Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Brazil, in 1990. He received his M.Sc degree from the Aeronautical Institute of Technology/Aerospace Technical Center (ITA/CTA), SJC, São Paulo, Brazil, 1996. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research interests include field measurements, and Wireless Communications in general. Actually he is Professor at the State University of Londrina, (UEL), PR, Brazil.

Rausley Adriano Amaral de Souza
Received his B. Elec. Eng. and M.Sc. (Elec.Eng.) from the Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações (Inatel), Brazil in 1994 and 2002, respectively. From 1994 to 2000 he worked at the Leucotron Equipamentos Ltda, Brazil as a Purchase Manager. Since 2002 he works as an Assistant Professor at Inatel. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research interests include diversity-combining systems over fading channels, Statistics Modeling for Characterization of Radio Channel Propagation and wireless technologies in general.

Rubem Toledo Bergamo
Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil in 1990, received the Safety Engineering degree from Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil in 1993. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, Unicamp, Brazil, in 2000. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. His research interest include Cognitive Radio, Wireless Networks and Wireless Technologies in general. Currently he is Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Santa Catarina (IF–SC).
